These terms apply when you use Seed: our mobile apps, our website and the bookings you make through them. By creating an account or making a booking you agree to them. Please read the sections on cancellations and refunds carefully, because they decide what happens to your money.
The short version. Seed connects you with independent studios. You pay in full when you book. Cancel before the class's cancellation window and you get the full amount back as Seed Wallet balance; cancel inside it, or don't show up, and you don't. If a studio cancels, you always get everything back. Wallet balance, credit and studio points are for booking on Seed and can't be withdrawn as cash.
1. Who we are
Seed Wellness (“Seed”, “we”, “us”) runs a platform in Egypt where you can discover and book wellness classes and sessions — yoga, pilates, spa, massage and more — at partner studios. You can reach us at support@seedwellness.app.
2. What Seed is, and isn't
Studios on Seed are independent businesses. They run their classes, employ or contract their instructors, and are responsible for their premises, equipment and the services they deliver. Seed provides the booking, payment and account tools that connect you with them. Where a problem is with the class itself, the studio is responsible for it; we will help you raise it and apply the refund rules below.
Class suggestions, recovery insights and AI coach tips in the app are general wellness guidance, not medical advice. Talk to a doctor before starting a new activity if you have a health condition, are pregnant or are recovering from an injury, and tell the instructor about anything that affects how you should take part.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to use Seed.
- You can sign in with a phone number and one-time code, Google or Apple. Keep access to that phone number or account secure — anyone who can sign in as you can book as you.
- Give us accurate details. Your name is shared with a studio when you book with them.
- One account per person. Don't create accounts for others or share yours.
- You can delete your account in the app. Deleting it forfeits any remaining Seed Wallet balance, Seed Credit, studio points, class packages and upcoming bookings; they are not refunded. We may suspend or deactivate an account that breaks these terms, abuses studios or other users, or is used for fraud.
4. Booking and paying
- Prices are shown in Egyptian pounds (EGP) before you confirm, and every booking is paid in full when you book. There are no deposits.
- You can pay by card, with your Seed Wallet balance or credit, with studio points where the studio offers them, or with a mix of these. Card payments are processed by our payment provider, Paymob; we never see or store your card details.
- While you pay, your spot is held for a short time shown in the app. If payment isn't completed in that time, the spot is released and anything already taken from your wallet or points is returned.
- Some studios approve each booking before it is confirmed. You'll see this before you book.
- A booking is confirmed when the app shows it as confirmed. Show the booking's QR code at the studio to check in.
- Studios may set class requirements (for example grip socks or your own mat). These are shown on the class and in your confirmation.
5. Cancellations and refunds
Every class has a cancellation window: a number of hours before the class starts, shown on the class before you book. It is 24 hours unless the studio has set a different one.
| What happens | Refund |
|---|---|
| The studio (or Seed) cancels the class or your booking | Full refund, always, however close to the class |
| You cancel before the cancellation window | Full refund |
| You cancel inside the cancellation window | No refund — the app won't let you cancel |
| You don't attend (no-show) | No refund |
| The class has already started | Can't be cancelled |
Where refunds go
- Money you paid by card, wallet balance or credit is returned as Seed Wallet balance, not to your card. Wallet balance doesn't expire and can be used for any booking on Seed.
- Any part you paid with studio points is returned as points at that studio.
- If you booked a group and paid for everyone, refunds for those spots come to you.
- If a class booked with a class bundle is cancelled by the studio, the session is credited back to your bundle instead of being refunded as money.
- If a studio cancels a program part-way through, you are refunded for the sessions that had not yet taken place.
6. Rescheduling
Before the cancellation window, you can move a confirmed booking to another class, at any studio on Seed, if that class has space. If the new class costs more, the difference is paid from your Seed Wallet. If it costs less, the difference is added to your wallet. Group bookings, bookings paid with studio points and bookings you've given to a friend can't be rescheduled — cancel and book again where that is allowed.
7. Giving a booking to a friend
You can give a confirmed booking to someone who is your friend on Seed, at any time before the class starts. The spot, and its QR code, move to them; no money moves, and you settle up between yourselves.
Once a booking has been given to a friend, nobody can cancel or reschedule it — not you, and not your friend. It can only be passed on again. If the studio cancels the class, the refund goes to the person who originally paid.
Bookings made with a class bundle or paid for by an employer can't be given away. A ladies-only class can only be given to someone eligible to book it.
8. Waitlists
- If a class is full you can join its waitlist. When a spot opens, the first person in line is offered it.
- If you chose to be notified, you have a few minutes (shown in the notification) to book before the spot passes to the next person.
- If you chose automatic booking, we charge your saved card and confirm the booking for you, then tell you. If the charge fails, your place in the queue passes to the next person. If you are charged but the booking can't be completed, we refund your card, or credit your wallet if the card refund isn't possible.
9. Seed Wallet, Seed Credit, studio points and packages
- None of these are cash. They can only be used on Seed and can't be withdrawn, transferred to another person's account, or refunded to a card.
- Seed Credit is bought in packages that may include bonus value. Credit expires after the period shown when you buy it, and unused credit isn't refunded.
- Studio points and class packages are sold by a studio and are usable only as that studio describes (for example at one branch or all of them). They expire after the period shown at purchase — unless the studio says otherwise, 365 days for points and 180 days for class packages. Expired points and packages aren't refunded.
- Your wallet balance from refunds does not expire.
10. Ladies-only classes
Ladies-only classes are offered only at studios Seed has verified for them, and are shown only to women and to members who have turned on ladies-only mode. Please respect these spaces; bookings made in breach of this may be cancelled by the studio.
11. Loyalty points, rewards and streaks
Seed loyalty points, tiers, streaks and rewards are a free programme to thank you for taking part. Points have no cash value, can't be sold or transferred, and are separate from studio points. Reward vouchers expire after the period shown on them. We may change how the programme works, and we may remove points or rewards earned through misuse.
12. Reviews and what you post
Reviews, comments and anything else you post must be honest and your own, and must not be abusive, discriminatory, misleading or unlawful, or reveal someone else's personal information. You give us permission to show what you post within Seed. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
13. Using Seed fairly
Don't misuse Seed: no fraudulent bookings or payments, no reselling spots, no automated scraping or bulk booking, no attempts to get around cancellation or refund rules, and no harassment of studios, instructors or other members. Follow each studio's house rules while you are there.
14. Health data
Connecting Apple Health or a wearable is optional, read-only, and used only to personalise what we suggest to you. How we handle it is explained in our Privacy Policy.
15. Our responsibility to you
We work to keep Seed available and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, and class details such as instructors and times are provided by studios and may change. To the extent the law allows, Seed is not responsible for injury, loss or damage arising from a class or a studio's premises or services, and our total responsibility to you in connection with a booking is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Egyptian consumer protection law that can't be excluded.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Seed changes. We'll update the date at the top, and tell you in the app if a change is significant.
17. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. If a dispute can't be settled by talking to us first, the courts of Cairo will have jurisdiction.
